Wilh Wilhelmsen's bid to consolidate the maritime services sector hit another roadblock as the US government sued to stop the $400m deal for Drew Marine Group.
The Federal Trade Commission says customers "will be harmed" by Thomas Wilhelmsen's deal for Drew and that it "would violate the antitrust laws by significantly reducing competition in an important market for marine water treatment chemicals and services used by global fleets."
