A US appeals court has dismissed an appeal filed by OceanConnect over its efforts to arrest a Seaspan containership over bunker bills left unpaid by Hanjin Shipping.
The Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia sent back the case without making any decisions on the controversy at issue.
The court clerk explained in the order that the appeal was dismissed because OceanConnect failed to pursue the case by filing the required documents.
