Payment of $59.8m in compensation from Sovcomflot (SCF) to Russian owner Yuri Nikitin has been halted by the UK Court of Appeal.
The Russian state shipping company has won the right to appeal an earlier ruling that found it liable for its legal adversary's lost earnings due to its freezing order on $377m of his cash ahead of a mammoth fraud trial that finished in 2010.
