Probulk Carriers has filed a US lawsuit seeking to seize a bulker controlled by Turkish shipowner Eregli Shipping as part of the New York bulker operator’s hunt to collect on an arbitration award.
But Eregli insists that the move is based on a false claim that it is controlled by Levent Karacelık-backed Marvel International Management and Transportation, the Turkish operator that is alleged to owe the arbitration cash.
