The manager of a product tanker and its master have pleaded guilty to felony charges for throwing garbage and oily waste overboard while off Texas in March 2017, federal authorities say.
Laliotis Group's Sea World Management & Trading and Edmon Fajardo admitted that Fajardo ordered crew members to throw plastics, empty steel drums, oily rags, batteries and empty paint cans into the ocean.
