Greek owner Evangelos Marinakis is one of 28 individuals to stand trial in Athens over match-fixing charges in connection with a wide-ranging probe into the country's football league, several Greek media outlets reported on Wednesday.
The decision to refer Marinakis, boss of the country's biggest football club, and his co-defendants for trial has been taken by the judicial council of the Court of Appeals in Athens after an investigation that began six years ago.
