The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) has secured an arrest order for a GOL Offshore platform supply vessel that has been stuck in Aberdeen for months.
The global union seized the 4,570-dwt Malaviya Seven (built 1994) , which was already under detention by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
Ken Fleming, the ITF's UK and Ireland coordinator, said workers on the ship are due $667,000, which he described as a scandal.
