Hudson Shipping Lines (HSL) and Phoenix Global have settled over a demurrage claim involving more than a million dollars.
"This matter now has been amicably resolved and the attachment proceeding pending in the Southern District of Ohio will be discontinued," HSL lawyer Rob Burger told TradeWinds today.
US-based HSL sought $1.3m from Dubai-based commodities shipper Phoenix Global DCMC for allegedly delaying a bulk wheat delivery by many weeks.
