Cargill, DNV GL advance 'CO2 Challenge'

Cargill Ocean Transportation and DNV GL are continuing their effort to bring cleaner air into the atmosphere.

The US commodities trader and the Norwegian classification society launched the second stage of "CO2 Challenge" at the SMM trade fair in Hamburg, Germany.

The initiative is aimed at finding new technologies that can lower ship's CO2 emissions by 10%.

First in-person meetings with start-ups providing innovative technologies were held at the DNV GL stand today.
