A Malaysian shipbuilder is suing domestic owner Icon Offshore over a newbuilding contract.
Icon said its subsidiary Icon Ship Management (ISM) had received a Kuala Lumpur High Court writ and claims from Labuan Shipyard & Engineering (LSE) over a platform supply vessel (PSV) ordered in 2011.
LSE wants general damages and an alleged outstanding sum of MYR 13.94m ($3.36m).
These partly relate to maintenance costs between 2014 and 2015.
