US sanctions take aim at raft of vessels in Russian energy sector

The US has taken another swipe at the Russian energy sector with sanctions against four shipping companies and their vessels, including those that supported the Arctic 2 LNG project.

The move came as the US State Department said Washington is sanctioning 280 more people and entities in an effort to place a cost on Russia’s war on Ukraine and use of chemical weapons.
