A Dubai shipowner has prevailed a second time in US courts over Sing Fuels.
Three judges from the US court of appeals for the fourth circuit sided with Arka Global Marine Services-linked Autumn Harvest Maritime — registered owner of the 79,410-dwt bulker Lila Shanghai (built 2011) — over the Singapore bunker provider in a dispute over unpaid fuel bills.
The ruling affirms a ruling last year in the US federal court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
