The chartering arm of trading giant Trafigura has obtained an urgent injunction in London to compel Gunvor Group's shipping subsidiary to provide security to allow the release of an arrested VLCC.
The 318,000-dwt tanker Miracle Hope (built 2019) had been on long-term bareboat charter to Trafigura when it was seized shortly after it arrived in Singapore from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on 12 March.
