ST Engineering has been ordered to pay $18m to Hornbeck Offshore Services over a dispute involving the construction of several OSV newbuildings.
It said the decision follows arbitration proceedings in the US between its US subsidiary VT Halter Marine and the offshore vessel owner.
The dispute surrounds an order placed in November 2011 for the design and construction of a series of OSV newbuildings.
