The North Korean bulker seized and sold by the US has been scrapped, according to shipping databases.
After the 27,811-dwt Wise Honest (built 1989) was arrested in May, it was auctioned over the summer by the US Marshals Service and sold to a mystery buyer for an undisclosed sum in mid-September.
According to Equasis, a database maintained by the French government, the ship was reflagged as Gabonese on 10 October and its status is listed as broken up.
