The owners of the Warnow Whale insist the boxship is plenty fast.
In a statement to TradeWinds through manager Marlow Navigation, the 1,300-teu, 2007-built boxship's owners are denying accusations made in a lawsuit that the ship could only muster 17.5 knots instead of the promised 19 knots.
"The owners have received a number of alleged claims for under performance of the vessel under the governing charter party.
