A multipurpose vessel linked to the Tulshyan Group of Singapore has been arrested in South Africa by a creditors trying to enforce payment of a $2m arbitration award.
A warrant for the arrest of the 8,200-dwt Ekarma (built 2011) was issued on Friday by the Western Cape High Court in Cape Town.
The application for the vessel's arrest was made by shipowner NTS Shipping, the Singapore subsidiary of Norway's NTS Group.
