The only way Ali and Hasan Lakhani can defend their liability for loans that they personally guaranteed would be to accuse their father, Tahir, of impropriety, Yieldstreet has argued in court.
But the claimants — five investment vehicles controlled by the alternative finance platform — argued that Ali and Hasan are unlikely to do so, according to a court hearing held via Skype on Tuesday.
