The Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) has grown from eight members to nearly 170 in its first decade, but it says the next five years will be crucial in its further development.
The Copenhagen-based organisation said in its annual report that it now represents more than half of the world’s shipping industry, and its anonymous incident reporting system, launched in 2013, has received close to 50,000 reports across 1,000 ports in more than 150 countries.
