Former Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA) executive director Lee Wai Pong has launched a process that he says will drastically slash the cost of disputes of less than $50,000.
The Small Claims Resolved Informally by Experts (SCRIBE) process, administered by Lee’s private company LWP.Sg Consultants in Singapore, will adjudicate cases of under $50,000, at a cost of SGD 3,300 ($2,413) per claim.
