A Georgia longshoreman is alleging he caught Covid-19 aboard a Hapag-Lloyd boxship, after the ship failed to disclose a crew member had it.
Leonard Roberts said he was instructed to do unspecified work aboard the 3,237-teu, US-flagged Philadelphia Express (built 2003) when it was docked in Savannah in July, where he was exposed to the highly contagious respiratory illness.
