James Kearns has joined Jones Walker's maritime team.
Kearns joins the firm after spending nearly 27 years at Bryan Cave, where he represented owners, operators and financial institutions in buying, constructing and financing vessels while counseling clients on Jones Act compliance.
"Jim's extensive experience in and knowledge of the maritime industry are assets to our clients and legal team," said Jones Walker managing partner Bill Hines.
