A former friend who had invested in some of Lomar Shipping’s container ships has won a $6.25m judgment in London against the company and its head, George Logothetis.
Investor Victor Pisante and his vehicles BCA Shipping Investment and Swindon Holdings & Finance brought a claim for commercial fraud against Logothetis and his companies in 2019.
The Pisante side alleged they are owed more than $14m on allegations that they were fraudulently induced to enter vessel transactions.
