The National Bank of Fujairah has filed an AED 45.2 million ($12.3m) mortgage claim in the High Court of Singapore against a handysize chemical tanker.
The Sheriff of Singapore’s office has revealed that the 15,200-dwt Folk Beauty (built 2010) was arrested while docked at Sembcorp Marine’s Admiralty Shipyard late last Thursday.
The UAE-flagged tanker arrived at the ship repair facility on 12 March.
