A former eastern regional director for marine fuels with BP Singapore has been found guilty of receiving almost $4m in bribes from a local bunker company boss.
A Singapore district judge ruled that Clarence Chang Peng Hong, who was originally arrested in early 2017, had taken bribes from Koh Seng Lee, the executive director of Pacific Prime Trading.
The offences are said to have happened on 19 occasions between July 2006 and July 2010 to advance Pacific Prime’s business interests with BP.
