A group of shipping companies fined for running a six-year cartel for transporting cars to the UK have failed to persuade three judges to throw out a £143m ($152m) US-style class action.
England’s court of appeal ruled that the case could go ahead after the shipping companies tried to have it kicked out because of an error over car pricing by a tribunal hearing the case.
