A dispute over fuel consumption between SK Shipping and Capital Maritime & Trading is set to go to trial this month, but a last-minute legal hiccup could affect the South Korean shipowner's claim.
SK Shipping Europe originally sued Capital Maritime and four of its managed companies for charter cancellations on four VLCCs and is seeking total compensation of $36.2m plus interest, as TradeWinds has reported.
