US-based JP Morgan Global Maritime appears poised to profit from a supramax bulker it purchased last year.
The unit of banking giant JP Morgan has sold the 58,000-dwt Sage Caledonia (built 2013) to an undisclosed buyer for $18.5m, European and US-based brokers said.
The Tsuneishi Heavy Industries-built bulker was acquired from Daiichi Chuo Kisen for $14m in January 2017 and was put up for sale in May of that same year.
