A couple of nimble days of pedalling saw four marine insurance experts cycle from London to Paris recently, raising a healthy £19,500 ($25,700) in the process for the expansion of a school in a deprived part of Ghana that is backed by staff of the Tsakos group.
Andreas Bisbas, director of Tsakos Shipping’s London office, rallied some insurance market colleagues to go along for the ride to help raise funds towards the completion of new classrooms at the St Nicholas Preparatory School in Tema.
