The UK P&I Club has elected Samos Steamship director Nicholas Inglessis as its new chairman.
He replaces outgoing chair Alan Olivier.
Inglessis has been a director at the Greek company since 1991 and brings considerable experience to the role, the club said.
He has also been a director at UK P&I since 2005 and was elected deputy chairman in 2012.
