A top figure in the fixed premium protection and indemnity market is leaving British Marine to join Asia Capital Re.
Marc Duck, a former Steamship Mutual and UK Club claims executive, switched to the fixed premium market in 2010. He initially worked for British Marine, the biggest of the fixed premium P&I insurers in London, but relocated to be head of P&I claims for the parent outfit, Australian insurer QBE in 2013.
