Malcolm Godfrey, executive director of protection and indemnity at Gallagher, is leaving the marine insurance broker after 18 years.
Industry sources suggest he will join rival Genoa-based broker Cambiaso Risso Group’s Greek operation Fender.
Cambiaso Risso, which is also said to have recently hired former NorthStandard senior underwriter Nicola Jones, has been expanding since it was taken over in 2019 by France’s Siaci Saint Honore Group.
