Dieter Berg, who is stepping down as president of the International Union of Marine Insurance this year, is also retiring from his position as senior executive manager at German reinsurer Munich Re.
Berg, 61, told TradeWinds that he would retire from his Munich Re position at the end of the year. He has been with Munich Re since 2001 and was previously with Bavarian Re.
