After a sluggish start to the year, Greeks have been upping the pace of their handysize acquisitions with a string of fresh deals emerging this week.
Attractive pricing is understood to have been the main reason behind Newport Shipping's purchase of the 28,200-dwt King Canola (built 2013), which has been sold by Singapore’s Celeste Holding. Newport managers were unavailable to comment.
