The Union of Greek Shipowners (UGS) has said it strongly supports the IMO's emissions targets as it hit back at claims the country was the least committed of all EU member states to tackling climate change.
UGS said in a statement it "strongly supports" a successful outcome at the forthcoming IMO MEPC 72 meeting, hoping that there is an agreement on the initial IMO strategy for greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
