National Bank of Greece has finalised an auction date for an abandoned tanker formerly chartered by NewLead Holdings.
It holds the lien on the 3,370-dwt Ioli (built 2009), which remains moored at Drammen harbour in Norway.
The vessel arrived in October 2016 with a crew of 14 Filipinos.
It was then abandoned by the seafarers after NewLead failed to pay wages in a timely manner, TradeWinds reported at the time.
