Great Eastern Shipping of India has continued an aggressive expansion effort with the acquisition of two more suezmax tankers.
The additions follow hot on the heels of the company buying a separate suezmax from CM Lemos and add to eight other ships purchased during an active 2016.
In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Great Eastern said it would buy suezmaxes built in 2010 and 2011 for delivery in the final quarter of its 2017 fiscal year.
