Novatek-led Yamal LNG is looking at taking in LNG carrier tonnage to fulfil its shipping needs as the project gears up for an early start-up of its second production train of 5.5 million tonnes per annum.
Sources close to the project said trading and shipping arm Yamal Trade is in talks to charter in the 170,200-cbm ice-class 2 Pskov (built 2014).
