Chinese shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) is gearing up to next month handover what will become the world’s largest LNG bunker vessel (LNGBV).
MOL’s 18,600-cbm LNGBV newbuilding, the Gas Agility, has undergone sea trials at the Shanghai yard. Gas trials are due to take place shortly.
The vessel’s planned delivery has been pushed into the third week of April.
It is expected to shift to Singapore, where a planned loading or bunkering operation may take place before heading to Rotterdam, in northern Europe.
