Australia’s Woodside is buying OCI Global’s under-construction blue ammonia production plant in Beaumont, Texas for $2.4bn as it eyes the marine sector as a future market.
Woodside said it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of OCI Clean Ammonia Holding and the facility that is due to be completed in the second half of this year.
