Wison Offshore & Marine is building a new production line at its site in China to construct SPB-type LNG tanks.
The Chinese shipyard has received some initial interest as it targets the rapidly emerging LNG bunker market.
Senior vice president Maarten Spilker said Wison is seeing enquiries for of about 10,000 cbm and is planning to build a new structural workshop at its Nantong yard with phase one reserved for SPB tank construction.
