Chinese yard Wison New Energies has won a pre-front-end engineering and design contract for a 1.5 mtpa floating LNG production unit in Papua New Guinea.
Kumul Petroleum Holdings wants to site an FLNG unit in the Gulf of Papua.
Wison said the pre-FEED will be completed by June 2025.
