A first floating storage & regasification unit carrying a shipment of LNG berthed today in Wilhelmsen, Germany as the country prepares to put its first new infrastructure into operation that will replace Russian pipeline supplies of gas.
The 170,000-cbm Hoegh Esperanza (built 2018), which is laden with a 165,000-cbm reload cargo from Sagunto in Spain loaded at the start of December, arrived on the berth on Thursday in the northwest German port.
