Energy logistics firm Pembina Pipeline has dropped its plans to build a US West Coast LPG export terminal due to local opposition.
In its just released annual report, Pembina said “it will not be proceeding with the previously announced” LPG export terminal in Portland, Oregon.
The project had been announced back in September 2014. Pembina planned the terminal to handle up to 96,000 tonnes of LPG, and load between two and three vessels monthly.
