It said four companies controlling LNG carriers, Maran Gas Maritime, Dynagas, TMS Cardiff Gas and Thenamaris LNG, had signed up for maintenance deals on 80 Wartsila 50DF dual-fuel engines over a five-year period.

The service should ensure early detection of performance issues, reduced downtime, optimised engine performance, predictable cash flow and optimisation of major overhauls.

Maran has signed up six ships, Dynagas seven, Cardiff four and Thenamaris three.
