VLGC charter rates have continued to plunge as the tonnage lists lengthens amid cancelled cargoes.
The Baltic Exchange VLGC index closed on Thursday at $76.43 per tonne, the equivalent of $62,948 per day for vessels.
This is down from a high of $110,000 just 12 days ago and another daily drop of 12%.
Norwegian investment bank Fearnley Securities reported four or five cancelled cargoes from Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia.
