Rates on the Arabian Gulf to the Far East route struck $102,700 per day, according to data from Clarksons Platou Securities.
The figure marked a rise from the $95,700 per day of a week ago and is almost double the earnings seen at this time a year ago, analyst Omar Nokta wrote in a report.
This morning analysts at DNB Markets placed VLGC rates at VLGC $99,437 per day.
