VLGC spot rates seem set to hold onto recent striking gains as tonnage stays tight for January fixtures, brokers and analysts said.
The Baltic Exchange assessed Middle East to Asia voyages at $40,900 per day on Friday, up 34% in a week and 47% in a month.
Increased activity in the West and Asia is driving the increase, market commentators said.
