A US Virgin Islands’ utility said it hopes to soon have a dock ready to handle very large gas carriers in anticipation of growing LPG shipments beginning next year.
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) is converting power plants on the islands of St Croix and St Thomas to run cleaner burning LPG rather than diesel and fuel oil.
