Trader and shipowner Vitol has agreed a deal to ship LNG into China.
The swap deal will see the group handle 500,000 tonnes of US gas from 2029 for China Gas Hongda Energy Trading.
The long-term swap agreement involves Vitol buying the LNG from China Gas’ contracted US volumes on a free-on-board basis.
